The Maxtech heavy-duty mortise entrance lever lockset is a direct-fit replacement for the Marks USA Metro 116A / 114A door prep, the mortise lock found on thousands of apartment and office doors across New York City. It uses the same 1-1/16" x 7-5/8" faceplate and 2-1/2" backset, so it drops into an existing Marks-prepped door with no new cutting or drilling.
The outside lever is controlled by a key cylinder and the inside by a thumbturn that throws a 1" deadbolt, giving apartment entry doors and office suites both everyday latching and real deadbolt security. Solid satin chrome (US26D) escutcheon plates are thru-bolted for strength, and the ADA-compliant levers are easy to operate for every tenant and visitor.

Choosing the Right Hand
Stand on the outside of the door (the key side). If the hinges are on your left, order Left Hand. If the hinges are on your right, order Right Hand. See the handing chart in the photos. For reverse-bevel (outswing) doors, call us before ordering and we will confirm the right lock for your opening.
Before you order: measure your existing lock against the dimension drawing in the photos. The faceplate (1-1/16" x 7-5/8") and 2-1/2" backset must match your door prep for a drop-in fit.
