Return Policy

Return & Refund Policy (Stock Items)

At Universal Fireproof Door Co., Inc., we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This policy applies to stock doors, frames, and hardware that are standard items (not custom-made).


Returns

You can return eligible stock items within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.

  • You have received a Return Authorization (RA) from our team.

To start a return, email Sales@ufiredoor.com with your order number, product details, and reason for return. Once approved, we’ll send you return instructions and an RA number.

All returns must be received within 30 days of delivery.


Non-Returnable Items

We’re unable to accept returns on:

  • Custom or made-to-order products

  • Installed or modified items

  • Products without original packaging or showing damage

  • Final-sale or clearance items


Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Additional fees may apply for repackaging or repairs if the product isn’t in resaleable condition.


Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect item or manufacturing defect).
Please inspect your order upon delivery — if the shipment arrives damaged, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us within 48 hours.


Refunds

Refunds are processed after the returned product passes inspection.
Please allow 10–15 business days after we receive your return for the refund to appear on your original payment method.
Shipping costs and restocking fees are non-refundable.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact Sales@ufiredoor.com within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the issue. We’ll quickly review and arrange a replacement or repair if needed.

Terms & Conditions

By making a payment through the Universal Fireproof Door Co., Inc. website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Payments made online authorize us to process the specified amount using the payment method you provide, and you confirm that you are the authorized account holder.

We accept major credit/debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and PayPal (if enabled). All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and may be subject to applicable sales tax and shipping fees.

Orders are not confirmed until payment is received and you receive a confirmation email. All sales are final—refunds are only issued in cases of duplicate payments or if the order is canceled in writing before production begins. Payments do not expedite lead times unless otherwise agreed in writing. Our secure online payment system uses SSL encryption, and we do not store full card details.

For any payment disputes, contact us within 7 business days. Unauthorized chargebacks will be challenged. Universal Fireproof Door Co., Inc. is not liable for delays, technical issues, or damages related to online transactions.
