Left hand or right hand?
Stand outside the door, on the side you push from. If the hinges are on your left, you need Left Hand. If they're on your right, Right Hand. Some slabs work either way — the listing will say LH / RH.

What are these odd-size door slabs?
Each listing is a single, brand-new steel door slab in a non-standard size — for example 35-3/4" x 79-1/8" — in stock and ready to go. They're made for older buildings where the opening doesn't match a catalog size. Each one lists its exact size, lock location, hinge locations and any extra preps.
Does the slab include the frame or hardware?
No. These are door slabs only. The frame, hinges, mortise lockset and any closer are sold separately. See our steel door frames and door hardware.
How do I know if a slab fits my opening?
Compare the exact door size, hinge locations and lock location in the listing with your existing door. Not sure? Send us a photo and a few measurements and we'll confirm before you order.
Are these slabs fire rated?
Yes. Every slab on this page is listed as 90-minute fire rated, 20-gauge steel with a mortise lock pocket. For a fire-rated opening, the frame, hinges and lockset must also be rated for the assembly.
What if none of these sizes match?
We'll build one. We manufacture steel doors to your exact size and prep in our New York factory. Send us your measurements for a quote.
