The Hollow Metal Door Package consists of the following.

A 20-gauge steel hollow metal door
- A 16-gauge frame
- (3) 4-1/2" square corner spring hinges with a US26D satin chrome finish
- A cylindrical knob lock (Please specify lock function)
The Cylindrical Locks are Available in Different Functions
- Storeroom: The latch can be operated by rotating the inside lever or using a key in the outside lever. The outside lever is always fixed.
- Entrance: Latchbolt can be operated by a lever from either side. The outside lever can be locked by turning a button from the inside and unlocked by using a key from outside or by rotating the inside lever.
- Passage: Latchbolt can be operated by a lever from either side at all times.
- Classroom: Latchbolt can be operated by a lever from each side. The outside lever can be locked or unlocked by a key from the outside, and the inside lever always operates the latch.
- Privacy: Latchbolt can be operated by a lever from either side. The outside lever can be unlocked by pushing a button on the inside and by rotating the inside lever or by using an emergency release on the outside.

Installation Guidelines
Required Tools:
- Level (minimum 48")
- Hammer drill with masonry bits
- Screwdriver set or impact driver
- Shims (wood or steel)
- Safety equipment (gloves, glasses)
Installation Steps:
- Verify opening dimensions and ensure rough opening is plumb and square.
- Position frame in opening and secure with temporary bracing.
- Level frame using shims at anchor points.
- Install anchors per specifications (typically 12" from corners, 24" on center).
- Verify door operation before removing temporary bracing.
- Install fire-rated seals and threshold.
- Apply required labels and conduct final inspection.
Important: All fire-rated doors must be installed by licensed professionals in accordance with NYC building codes. Improper installation voids fire rating and warranty.
